ALEXANDER MCQUEEN SILENT AUCTION AT THE NEW HELL'S KITCHEN IN NEW YORK...

Models Pay Tribute To Their Beloved Alexander McQueen

The sudden and untimely death of fashion visionary Alexander McQueen sent shockwaves through fashion capitals across the globe but his work lives on…

For all my stateside readers, why not pay tribute to the designer by visiting ‘Housing Works thrift Shop’ at the new Hell’s Kitchen store.

Their famous window display will feature a selection of over 30 gowns and accessories luring fashionistas into bidding in a silent auction, March 29th – April 11th.

With Armadillo heels made famous by Lady Gaga and plumed dresses covered in gold leaf his final Spring/Summer 2010 collection was certainly one of his best.

I was lucky enough to view one of his ‘creatures of the sea’ dresses on display at the V&A London recently, so I definitely recommend getting down to 730-732 9th Avenue New York if you can.

If you’re lucky enough go, do let LWS know the goss…
