Glastonbury shmastonbury, the only festival you want to be noting on your calendar this summer has to be the ‘Vintage At Goodwood’ festival…

The festival this August mixes music and fashion, a match made in fashionista heaven!

Forget sloshing around in the mud in your Hunter wellies and roughing it in damp uncomfortable tents, this event is for ladies, darling!

Fashion designers Gerardine and Red or Dead founder and designer Wayne Hemingway have joined forces with stately home owner Lord March to launch the event in the Sussex countryside, how very civilised!

Dedicated followers of fashion will be able to flock to the festival’s own ‘High Street’- which will comprise pop-up shops from the likes of The Body Shop, Oxfam and John Lewis, alongside hair salons, where stylists will recreate styles from bygone eras.

It all began after the Hemingway’s saw a picture of Kate Moss in the Glastonbury mud and realised that festivals had lost their sense of glamour, have they not heard of the new craze for Glamping?

Tickets are now on sale for £55 and weekend camping tickets at £150, get your ticket here >

P.S 24-year-old singer Lily Allen was at the launch of ‘Vintage At Goodwood’ and will be debuting her new vintage clothing line ‘Lucy In Disguise’ at the festival later this summer!
